The Volta is a Level 18 (Legendary) frog. This frog is named after Alessandro Giuseppe Antonio Anastasio Volta (18 February 1745 – 5 March 1827), who was an Italian physicist, chemist, and a pioneer of electricity and power, and who is credited as the inventor of the electrical battery.
The frog's pattern consists of a zigzag stripe in the secondary color across its body just below its eyes, like a bolt of lightning. Hence the name Volta.
