The Scutulata species is a level 25 (Legendary) breed of frogs. The name Scutulata comes from the Latin word scutulata meaning a "checked garment."

The Scutulata's pattern is an all-over diamond pattern, with the base and pattern colors alternating like a checkerboard. The diamond covering the nose is in the pattern color, the front feet are in the pattern color, and the back legs are in the base color.
