The Ludo species is a level 4 (common) breed of frogs. The Latin word ludo means play, jest or joke.
The Ludo is a POP (Previously Only Promotional) frog. It can currently only be obtained by purchasing it for 25 potions in the FrogMart (when available), or as a gift from another player. It can not be found in the Pond, in minigames, or in presents.
The pattern of a Ludo frog closely resembles a clown's face paint, but extending throughout the body. Also, if turned upside down, the design resembles a jester's hat. The pattern covering the nose and eyes are in the secondary color, with spots of the primary color. The middle and back body and all legs are in the primary color with spots of the secondary color on the back and legs.
The Ludo frog was originally obtained by clicking on a special offer and downloading a free app. On February 3rd, 2011, an Azure Chroma Ludo became available to those who downloaded the app "Sky Burger."
