The Latus species is a level 33 (legendary) breed of frogs. Latus in Latin as a noun means "side", "flank", "sidepiece", as an adjective it means "broad", "wide", "spacious".
The pattern is a series of circles in the secondary color. Each circle has a darker outline in the secondary color and a blend of the secondary and primary colors filling the interior. The circles are arranged in a necklace pattern, with diagonal lines coming from just below the eyes to the center back, and circles of various sizes on the tops of the legs and the nose. The remainder of the frog is the primary color.
