The Glacio species is a level 3 (common) breed of frogs. The name "Glacio" comes from the Latin word glacio meaning to freeze.
The Glacio is a POP (Previously Only Promotional) frog. It can currently only be obtained by purchasing it for 25 potions in the FrogMart (when available), or as a gift from another player. It can not be found in the Pond, in minigames, or in presents.
A Glacio frog has a snowflake shape in its pattern color on its back, and the rest of the frog is solid in the base color.
The Glacio frog was officially released on December 9, 2010 with an offer to download Dizzypad for free. It was delivered as an Azure Albeo Glacio. A White Floris Glacio was offered on February 10, 2011 with the message "Happy Valentine's Day" and an offer to download FlowerGarden for free. Unlike the other original two special event frogs, Tribus and Lanterna, no new awards were introduced with the Glacio pattern.
