Gifting is a feature of the game in which players can send mature, tamed frogs to any neighbor by using their friend code (FC) and stamps. Scenery items can also be gifted.

Gifting Frogs[]

Before gifting a frog or item, the sender must add the recipient's friend code, which consists of 4-6 letters and numbers, to their Neighbor list. The Neighbor list is accessed from the "Neighbors" icon on the main menu. A player's friend code is found at the center bottom of the main menu. The recipient does not need to have the sender their Neighbor list to receive frogs. If they are not in the list, an arriving gift will show as being from "Unknown".

One stamp will be deducted from the sender's stamp total when they send a frog. The recipient does not need to have the app open at the time the frog is sent. They will receive it in their mailbox the next time they run the app. If a player is expecting to receive a frog, they will have to close and reopen the app to have the gift arrive. It does not cost a stamp to receive a frog, only to send one. If the receiver's mailbox is full, a player can still choose to accept the gift and it will wait on the server until a free mailbox is available.

Frogs must be tamed in the pond before they can be gifted to another player. If a player has purchased the VIP Package from the Pro Shop, frogs are free to send with no stamps required.

To send a mature, tamed frog to a neighbor, open the frog menu of the frog to be sent. Select the "gift" option and follow the prompts.

After a frog is sent it will be removed from the habitat and the sender's possession. There is no way to retrieve a frog after it has been sent. A player may clone another from their Froggydex.

Frogs received will be sent to the mailbox and are subject to the same delivery wait times as presents found in the Pond.

The receiver can choose to decline a gift. In that case, they will receive 1/2 the full value for a frog, or 1/4 the purchase value for scenery, in coins instead.
