The Fortuno species is a level 32 (Legendary) breed of frogs. Fortuno, in Latin, means "bless," "prosper," and "fortune."
The name refers to the sunflower pattern on its back, as a blooming sunflower appears in various mythologies as a symbol of and/or herald of good fortune. In Greek mythology, the appearance of the flower marks one as favored by the Apollo (the Sun God). In China, the sunflower deals with long life, good luck, and is considered very auspicious. The sunflower is in the pattern color and covers the entire back of the frog. The center of the flower contains small circles surrounded by many heart-shaped petals. The remainder of the frog is in the base color.
