Well, this morning I had 14m coins, now I only have 1.5m; ha! I bought a new habitat and I’ve been doing a breeding frenzy today. I have 58 habitats now and they are all full of eggs and baby frogs*. When they all mature, my coins will go up again. It will probably take a week to earn enough to buy a new habitat and still be able to breed frogs.
For instance, the next habitat is going to cost 11.8m coins. I won’t buy it until I accumulate at least 14m coins. If I buy too soon, then I might not have enough coins to breed all the frogs.
I also tame a lot of frogs in the pond, and find a lot of high value gifts (the pink ones), which sometimes have 4000 coins. I decline the free scenery, decorative habitats, and low level frogs. When you don’t accept a pond gift, you earn coins. Not as much as if you accept it and sell it later, but I don’t want to bog down my mailbox.
I probably tame 20-50 frogs a day.
I check the gift area often and watch all the videos to get the free gifts. Sometimes it’s only 1 coin! That always makes me laugh. Often, though, it’s a high value frog or higher amounts of coins.
Basically, every little bit adds up. It also helps a great deal to be VIP. Frogs tame faster in the pond, they mature faster in the habitats, and are delivered in the mailbox faster.
My fingers have gotten very fast at taming & breeding.
*my last 2 habitats are where I keep frogs to give away. I do agree that giving away frogs is a drain on coins; I’m giving away 25-30 frogs a day. For me, I’m so far ahead in the game (64% of froggydex now) that I don’t mind if it takes a bit longer to accumulate the coins.
